Review-Fruit of the Spirit:Love by Calvin Miller

I so appreciate the first paragraph on the back of this wonderful study guide. "Love. It's perhaps the most overused and misused word in our language today. We love our cars. We love sports. We love Montana in the spring. Somehow, we've come to understand love as a feeling that ebbs and flows or a "place" in life we're fortunate enough to land. Yet the Bible paints a dramatically different picture of love".

If you are looking for a study about this fruit of the Spirit then you have found it! The set up is wonderful and great for personal reflection and group study. At the beginning of each section you have a synopsis of what is covered each week which included a heading and scripture for each day. So each day you will have a short reading, bible scripture and questions to answer. Then at the end of the week there is a section for group discussion which ties it all together. Each question is very thought provoking.

I thought I had read everything there was to read about the fruit of the Spirit and covered most bible studies but Miller puts a new spin on it and covers scripture I had not covered in other studies. I will be recommending this as a study for our small group soon.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze®.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review.
